Clinical Services

How does CIH support the clinical adoption of innovations?

Usability Trial Session

We coordinate sessions with the appropriate group of clinical end users of the innovation, who are able to provide valuable insights and feedback regarding the product and how it can be improved to be adopted into the hospital.

Innovation 360

Innovation 360 is our anchor event held yearly, and provides innovators with a platform to pitch to a wider audience of clinical users, as well as other stakeholders in the healthcare innovation ecosystem. This includes investors, prototyping experts, business mentors and our Health Horizons members, just to name a few.

Clinical Validation

Following the successful matchmaking with a clinical PI, we provide various services that enable innovators to clinically validate their innovation and assess their suitability in being clinically adopted. These services include DSRB submission and the running of the clinical trial.

We have a network of health economists led by our Chief Health Technology Assessment Officer, Associate Professor Joanne Yoong, who are able to provide HTA consultancy tailored to the needs of your project.

Our team will be able to guide you to systematically evaluate your health technology using established HTA methods, taking into account both clinical expert opinions and existing scientific evidence.

The evaluation would be able to provide evidence to guide decisions such as procurement, incorporation into clinical workflow, health policy decision, further development of your health technology.

Our team will work with you to customise the study scope according to your needs.

Where necessary, innovators can also tap on our network of partners for prototyping and engineering expertise, investments and business mentorship.
